I’m pleased to introduce my latest found oil painting, "Mallard’s Rest Among Autumnal Echoes." This 16"x20" oval composition centers on a still life arrangement—a mallard duck with a vibrant green head resting on a simple shelf alongside a small birdhouse, a tipped terracotta pot, and a green ceramic vessel. The surrounding branches and scattered red berries frame the scene, all set against a muted brown backdrop that evokes a quiet, rustic feeling. In creating this piece, I aimed to capture a moment of calm balance between natural elements, using earthy tones to convey a sense of peaceful reflection. I look forward to sharing more about the inspiration and creative process behind this work soon. Just found in my studio hidden ON SALE

This Foggy Morning Bayou was done from my photos. The fog was there and looked so ominous.

Highway One, California captures a quiet moment along a rugged coastline, where the interplay of land, sea, and sky creates a harmonious and contemplative scene. The painting features a prominent tree on the right, its vibrant green leaves and sturdy trunk providing a grounded presence against the expansive blue ocean. Detailed textures of rocky outcrops meet the gentle motion of waves, while delicate plants and grasses frame the water’s edge in the foreground, inviting closer inspection. Soft clouds drift across a bright sky, stretching the horizon and enhancing a sense of openness and peace. Thoughtful use of light and shadow accentuates natural forms and movement, resulting in a composition that resonates with tranquility and invites viewers to experience the enduring beauty of the California coast. The painting measures 16"x12" and is signed by me.
