I’m pleased to introduce my latest found oil painting, "Mallard’s Rest Among Autumnal Echoes." This 16"x20" oval composition centers on a still life arrangement—a mallard duck with a vibrant green head resting on a simple shelf alongside a small birdhouse, a tipped terracotta pot, and a green ceramic vessel. The surrounding branches and scattered red berries frame the scene, all set against a muted brown backdrop that evokes a quiet, rustic feeling. In creating this piece, I aimed to capture a moment of calm balance between natural elements, using earthy tones to convey a sense of peaceful reflection.
