Sea Rhythms, the sea

     This 10x10 oil painting of the Cypress tree and ocean  is done from a photo.  It was a study on doing rocks, the sea, and the breeze blowing the cypress tree.  I hope you like it.  The surface is a wooden birch panel that is cradled.  I have a wire hanger on the back.  

 "Seaside Rhythms," a 10x10 oil painting on a cradled panel. This piece captures the mesmerizing interaction between the sea, rocks, and the ever-changing atmosphere. The inspiration came from the natural beauty and dynamic energy of the coastline, which I aimed to convey through rich textures and layered brushstrokes. The process of creating this artwork allowed me to explore new techniques, particularly in capturing the play of light and shadow on water. I hope "Seaside Rhythms" evokes a sense of tranquility and the invigorating feel of the ocean's presence. May it bring the essence of the sea into your space.

Bayou Cabins was done from my photos combined to show life on the bayous of South Louisiana.  I have egrets, turtles, cypress trees, Spanish moss, cabins, water flowers, and a dragonfly in this bayou painting. I started this painting on a gallery wrap black canvas. It has taken a while because I have a complete knee replacement while painting this piece.   I hope you  will let me know if you like the painting.
