Small oil painting of a Sunset over the Bridge is one of my demos. The size of this painting is 5"x5" and the painting is signed for you.

You can get prints in a bigger size.  I believe I took the photo of the bridge in Florida.

Wedding Sunset of Abby and Russell, landscape Barbara Haviland

#Sunset, #wedding, #knife work, #thick juicy paint, #BarbaraHaviland.net

I am excited to unveil my latest artwork, "Wedding Sunset," an 11x14 oil painting on canvas. This piece captures the breathtaking drama of a sunset unfurling in vivid waves of orange, yellow, and purple across the sky. A stark silhouette of a barren tree and a wooden structure, suggestive of a farmhouse or barn, stand in the foreground, creating a striking contrast against the vibrant backdrop. The texture and depth achieved through dynamic brushstrokes bring this sunset scene to life, infusing it with movement and emotion. Inspired by Abby and Russell's wedding, this painting holds a special place in my heart as it reflects a moment of beautiful inspiration during a cherished occasion. I hope "Wedding Sunset" resonates with you and brings a touch of its vibrant intensity into your space. They are Still together!!!

Today is my Mom's Heavenly Birthday!.. I am missing you very much BUT, I will see you again.

Sunset in Desert is done with a palette knife. This piece has yellows, oranges, and purples to create what I saw in the sunset. I love these bright colors.  I have framed it in a black frame that my husband makes for me.It has tons of textures. The painting is signed and is framed.

Flamingo at Sunset was done in oils and is not framed. It is signed and will be one of the prizes at Affair D' Art in November 2015

This was a fun painting to do. It just came together for the finished piece. It is bright and bold and if you look close you can see the pretty Flamingo.   If you would like to purchase the piece, the money goes to our fund raiser Affair D' Art.
