Workshop Date  October 25, 2014 Saturday

Time   9 am--5 pm

Location  6161 Madison Street,Groves,Texas

Cost is $50.00 for the day  (deposit required)

I am hosting my first Saturday Workshop at my Studio. We will paint from 9--noon and after lunch will paint some more. We will be working in oils so bring your supplies. Canvas size is up to you. I recommend a 16"x 12"   so you can finish the painting.  WE will start a landscape and I will  start one as well.  Please sign up as my space is limited. Send a deposit to hold your place..

One Day Workshop on Saturday October 25,2014 $50.00 Workshop Dates: 10/25/2014 - 10/25/2014 Location: 6161 Madison Street 6161 Madison Street Groves Texas 77619 United States I am hosting  a Saturday Workshop at my studio on October 25,2014.  We will paint from 9-noon and then after lunch paint until about 5pm We will be working in oils and bring your own supplies. Canvas size is up to you. NOT too big or too small . I would suggest around 12"x16"  Cost is   $50.00   and bring your own lunch. Sam will get us drinks.    We will start a landscape of a bayou from some of my photos and work from start to finish. Space is limited so please reserve your spot. The Zippo lighter was done as part of a challenge on DailyPaintworks. I really enjoyed doing the painting. It is a miniature oil.

This painting is done in oils and I will be taking it to the Gallery. We are having a Promenade  Preview for September and I painted this bayou painting for it.     I used one of my photos and pretty much painted it like it was.   I like the coolness of the  painting. The canvas panel that I use to paint on is very lightweight and it is in a Black wood frame. In Southeast Texas and South Louisiana where I live,this is the scenery I see.
