These lovely red poppies were painted for my best friend.  She loved them and had made me a beautiful wreath so we were both happy. Barbara I am glad you like my art.  WE have been friends since the 7th grade.  These kind of friends are the best.  I am very lucky as I have several long time best friends...

I had a photo of the Ouray Waterfall and I love how this came out.  am working hard to improve my artwork....  This one is signed and framed for you.  I did use a palette knife on the rocks and water.

Rose Red is my fourth in a brightly colored floral series.  Three of them are 20" x 16" and one is 18"x 14".  They all have yellows, oranges, and reds in the flowers. The backgrounds all match somewhat. I hope you like them. I changed this up a bit and am reposting.

This oil painting was part of a challenge. We used a limited palette, which is always challenging.  I used big brush strokes and bright color. My painting looks like it is at night with the moon shining but not showing. The colors are still there but I feel there is mystery surrounding the scene. I hope you like it and will comment.
