I finally got to my Studio to paint.. Yea   I painted this background with dark colors of Blues, purples, reds and some bright yellows and some oranges. I wanted to have a flower that went with the background and the Bird of Paradise just hit the spot.. My husband is making a frame for it now.

Shopping in Paris is a challenge I did in oils and the painting measures  14" x 11". I am having fun doing these challenges. They make you grow.

I had this old fence post that my husband sanded. I liked the board and wanted to show  some flowers on it. I painted two blue bonnet scenes and glued the pieces on the fence post.  The larger piece is 5"x12" and the smaller one is 5"x5"  There is a wire hanger on the back.
