Nocturnal Cypress is one of my newest bayou paintings. I wanted to show how eerie and how mysterious a bayou is at night. The painting is done in oils on a special Gallery wrap canvas that was stretched by my daughter. It is a professional job she did. I have used a very limited palette for this painting
