Geranium Blooms in Terracotta   This piece captures the natural elegance of vibrant pink flowers against the earthy tones of a simple terracotta pot. The varied shades of pink give the flowers a lush and dynamic quality, while the rich green leaves complete the tranquil scene. I drew inspiration from the beauty of nature, which never ceases to amaze me with its vibrant contrasts and subtle harmonies. The creative process for this artwork was unique, allowing me to experiment with color and composition in new and exciting ways. I hope it brings the same sense of joy and serenity to you as it did to me while creating it.

 

I love geraniums and   finally painted them.  The leaves are so delicate. and the flowers smell.  These are done in oils on a 12x6 linen canvas. In a clay pot and  don't need water.

Butterfly Lily, my favorite smelling flower

This is one section of the Butterfly Lily. It smells wonderful and I am so glad I have some of these in Woodville. Painted on a 6"x6" canvas panel.   They grow in a pod and have many sections.  I don't know if this is the proper name but my Mother in law called them Butterfly Lilies.

Update on week 3 of Knee replacement

So far, I am in pain from various reasons.  I have missed all of my followers and hope to return soon.

I am not well yet. After 3  1/2 weeks this is has been severe to me.

Knee Replacement recovery.................

     This is a blog post with no photo.  I wanted to let all know that I have had my second complete knee replacement and I am having a terrible time.. I am asking for prayers of healing!!   My sweet husband has been in charge of my care..  He  doesn't cook but he is doing OK..   We are surviving day by day.

 The ice machine is in full mode and doing well..  I have woke him up all hours of the day and night for help.............. He comes thru.  That is about all for this post..  See you Wednesday...........
