My Red Skechers are done in oils on a gallery wrap canvas. I was bored one day and thought why not paint my shoes. It turned out to be a great idea. I soon saw all kinds of shoes being painted. I am pleased with how they came out and the shoes are very comfortable.

This painting evolved from many photos. I was doing a study to see how to have the vineyard in the back and maybe a courtyard (like New Orleans) in the foreground. I liked the results and hope you do it. It is available here for you.

I painted these 2 7"x 5" Iris to be sold at the 5 x 7 show in Austin. Each year they have this show to raise funds to operate on. I have been involved in this show for several years now. My daughter Wendy lives and works in Austin and she got me involved in the show.

This blue jay was sitting on my mail box one morning and just sat there while I painted him. I was hurried but got him done before he flew off to parts unknown.. He measures 7" x 5" and he is signed and framed.
