Fantasy Hibiscus II was done the same morning I painted  my bird of paradise.. I was so excited to finally paint.  I wanted Fantasy Hibiscus II to be a companion to my Bird of Paradise painting.  They are framed alike.  I used lots of Yellows,reds,oranges, and bright paint. Both of these floras will have a companion  of a poppy that will match the color palette. Watch for it.

   I painted this background with dark colors of Blues,purples,reds and some bright yellows and some oranges. I wanted to have a flower that went with the background and the Bird of Paradise just hit the spot.. My husband is making a frame for it now.

Rose Red is my fourth in a brightly colored floral series.  Three of them are 20" x 16" and one is 18"x 14".  They all have yellows,oranges, and reds in the flowers. The backgrounds all match somewhat. I hope you like them. I changed this up a bit and am re-posting.

Purple Azaleas at Big Bend was painted on a canvas panel that measures 11"x 14".  I thought the purples were stunning against the big rocky mountain. It has painterly strokes  and no frame.
