Pink Tulip, ACEO

The acronym "ACEO" stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. They can be original art, print editions or photographs.

The majority of ACEOs are two dimensional, but three dimensional elements may also be incorporated. Pop-ups, books, collages, and sculpture can all be ACEOs as long as they measure 2-1/2" x 3-1/2"!

Lavender ACEO: Four Floral Delights presents a delicate collection of four miniature oil paintings, each capturing the unique character of a single flower set against a softly blended pastel purple background. This series features a Daisies white flower with refined, translucent petals framing a bright yellow center, a Pink Tulip showcasing smooth, rounded petals, a vibrant yellow daffodil with its signature trumpet-like center, and a white calla lily distinguished by its elegant curve and central yellow spadix.  
Rendered on compact 3.5 by 2.5-inch canvases, the brushwork emphasizes gentle transitions of color and form, lending each bloom a sense of presence despite the small scale. The subtle layering of hues and careful attention to detail balance precision with softness, inviting viewers to appreciate the distinct beauty inherent in each flower. Bayou with Cabin is one that I was demoing.  Finished now and hope you  will love it.  The painting measures 18"x14" and is signed and varnished.  It is done in oils on a canvas panel that my husband makes.

Pansies in Watercolor

    

Pansies in Watercolor matted in a 11x14 mat. I did these some years ago and just found them in my studio.  The tape you see is holding the glass to prevent anything from messing up the painting. It will not be sent to you.   The mat has gold and I arranged the pansies to fit on the mat.  I like this and I am sure you will too.   The piece is available here on my site.
