We saw this dappled light when getting ready to leave for the day.  We stopped to paint this last scene for the day.  Painting en  Plein air is very challenging but fun....The painting measures 12"x9" and is signed and framed.

Big Rock Boulder at San Juan was just now finished. I started this painting while at Pagosa Springs, Colorado and just found it  and finished it. Rocks are hard for me so I guess that is why it took so long. I do however like the end results on this one. The boulder was massive.
